Default If you like it a little hard and ragged...

Death From Above 1979 - You're a woman, I'm a machine

Black Keys - Thickfreakness

The Rapture - Echoes

BTW, that first album might just be my alltime favorite. These guys are new and they're gonna be huge.

The Replacements ---All for Nothing/Nothing For All (only if you already like the Replacements, otherwise get Stink EP or perhaps Tim. I'm liking Tim right now).

Nina Simone ---- Nina Sings Nina (Self-explanatory)

Iwan Fals ---- Manusia Setengah Dewa (Its like the Indonesian Bob Dylan).

You just made me go out to my truck and get this to listen to. For real.

Some more metal type suggestions:
1. Vision of Disorder- Imprint
2. Integrity - Systems Overload
3. 7 Angles 7 Plagues - Jhazmyn's Lullabye

Wilco - Yankee Hotel Foxtrot (2002)

[/ QUOTE ]

When this album first came out, I couldn't care less.

Now, however, they are by and far my favorite band out today. I can't wait to see them in Austin in 3 weeks.

As for my reccomendations (I'm going to avoid repeats, but I haven't read all replies):

Kanye West - Late Registration
The Double - Loose in the Air
Gorillaz - Demon Days [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

I also definitely approve of Bloc Party, Interpol, Arcade Fire and Common.
