villain here is one of the lagtard monkies (35/25/2.4). we haven't tangled too much, but he did 3-bet me once OTB with KQo. yes?

i'm not a big fan of raising and folding to a 3bet against a "lagtard monkey" when he could easily be overplaying something like 75s that you have a ton of outs against.

i don't think it's that unreasonable. it costs the same to just call him down, plus giving up the chance to river a nine is not insignificant in a 12 bb pot.

I don't like the raise/fold on the turn. You can showdown for the same price. He could have A7s, 75s, 88, 66 or nothing at all for that matter. For a 35 VPIP, 2.4 is pretty aggressive and I don't think you should be folding to one overcard at any point in the hand. You can always call down as a default without getting too aggressively crazy with LAGs.

Is everyone in agreement on the cap pre-flop?

I think raising the turn to fold against a lagtard monkey with 2nd pair in a 12BB pot is bad. I'd rather go call/call here.

I'd cap PF with TT so 99 can't be that far away.

me too. You should get use to trying to adjust your lines to get to showdown against lags. It's a skill you MUST develope to be successful at 10/20.
