Not happy - Royal Bonus at Interpoker is only 1/2 of stated value

I hit my first ever online Royal today at Interpoker. According to the lobby on the upper right hand side, it speciffically states right below the bad beat jackpot (currently $3,100)

"Royal Flush Bonus $500"

So when I won my royal bonus today I was shocked to find out that the t&C states that at the limit I played at the royal bonus is only $250. This is in my opinion false advertising, the statement should read "Royal Flush Bonus Up To $500", or at a minimum change based on the room a player enters to match the room's T&C.

I called the support line, and I must admit the gentelman I spoke with was rather sympathetic with my complaint. A nice chap, but he was honest in saying there is nothing he can do about it except notify management of my complaint. He agreed that the T&C and this marketing ststament do not match, and he politely appologized before sending me on my way.

Does this bother anyone else as much as it does me? I want to trust Interpoker... I am very disapointed.
I've never been wronged by a poker site before... this is my first time.

I don't blame you to want the extra $250 but I've never even played on Interpoker and I'm not a zoo addict but I've read at least twice that the royal bonus is level dependant...your average Joe Schmoe probably would have no way of knowing but I'd expect that a 2+2 allstar like yourself would have stumbled upon this info at one time or another.

Regardless I suggest sueing their pants off.

lets see if you were playing on most sites you would have just won the pot. It is spelled out very clearly if you look in the promotions area and the jackpot works the same way. It is called marketing and I don't think it is a big deal although a link directly from the heading on the main page would be nice.

I am in marketing, thats what I do for a living. A statement such as found in the T&C would be found to be unenforcable in the states, because it contradicts with the marketing statement which everybody sees in the lobby. I checked with a friend in the UK, he tells me the laws are similar there as well.
