turn checkraise--method or madness?
Bellagio 30-60 game. Good game, not too aggressive. I'm dealt K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] in an early position. I open with a raise. Only the cutoff (slightly obese woman, but relatively unknown to me) and the small blind calls (73 or 74 years old, she's a regular in the 30-60 game; a bit loose preflop, but plays OK postflop).
Flop is: K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. Checked to me and I bet. Cutoff raises, and SB calls cold, and I call. River is: [K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]] 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. I check, cutoff bets, SB folds, and I raise. Comments? |
