Default Is this fair?

Hi,
I'm looking to set up my own tournaments and I'd appreciate your comments on my structure. There will be two tournament types:
1) Re-Buy with Top Up
2) Freezeout.

I will be getting 2,000 chips and with this amount I hope to accommodate for 50 Re-Buy players or 100 Freezeout players.

I want to make the best use out of my chips so I designed this structure assigning a set amount of chips to each player for a Re-Buy tournament. I have allowed for 3 Re-Buys per person plus 1 top up in the first hour and a half. Of course not everybody will buy 3 Re-Buys so there should be plenty spare for those who want to Re-Buy more than 3 times.

This assigned Re-Buy amount per player can then be divided into two equal stacks to cater for 2 Freezeout stacks.

<font color="red">Re-Buy Tournament:</font>
White(25) x 8 = 200
Red(100) x 8 = 800(+ 2 to colour up the above)
Blue(500) x 4 = 2,000(+2 to colour up the above)

Total starting chips = 3,000 = 60X Big Blind (Blinds start at 25/50)

I then have:
Green(1000) x 14 = 14,000

which is to accommodate for Re-Buys (3K) and a Top Up (3k)

and I also have

Black(5000) to colour up for final table to cut down on chip amounts.

<font color="blue">Summary:</font>
White(25) x 8 = 200
Red(100) x 8(2) = 800
Blue(500) x 4(2) = 2,000
Green(1,000) x 14 = 14,000
Black(5,000) x 2 = 10,000

In total that is 40 chips assigned to each player for the Re-Buy tournament.

This stack of 40 can then be made into 2 even stacks to accommodate 2 freezeout players like so:

<font color="red">Freezeout:</font>
Green(25) x 6 = 150
Red(50) x 5 = 250
Blue(200) x 3 = 600
White(500) x 4 = 2,000

Total starting chips = 3,000 = 60X Big Blind (Blinds start at 25/50)

I then have 1 black left over which can colour up the Green, Red and Blue at a later stage.

<font color="blue">Summary:</font>
Green(25) x 6 = 150
Red(50) x 5 = 250
Blue(200) x 3 = 600
White(500) x 4 = 2,000
Black(1000) x 1 = 1,000

This equals 19 chips assigned to each freezeout player.

This means there will be 40 chips per person for a Re-Buy tournament, from 2,000 chips, this allows 50 players and for a freezeout it will allow 100 players.

I will need to following amount of colours in total so:
White: 400
Red: 500
Blue: 300
Green: 700
Black: 100

Total = 2,000

I suppose it would be wise to get a good few of each colour for spares also.

The freezeout is to last 4 hours and the Re-Buy is to last between 5 and 6 hours.

What are your opinions on this set-up? Do you think it is fair? Do you think it will run well?

Also, what about the colours? Should I swap colour values to have Black = 100 instead of red being 100 etc?

I would appreciate any comments or criticisms.

I have not yet decided on a blind structure but it will be as fair as possible. If anyone knows of any structure that would suit this set up, please recommend it.

Do you think there is a better way to distribute the chips? Another option is to have something like this:

white(10)-5
red(50)-3
blue(300)-3
black(500)-1
TOTAL STARTING: 1600 (80x BB {10/20}) (12 chips)
green(1000) Colour Up Chips

or

white(10)-5
red(50)-5
blue(300)-2
black(500)-1
TOTAL STARTING: 1400 (70x BB {10/20}) (13 chips)
green(1000) Colour Up Chips

I haven't really got my head around this set up yet as I have been using other recommendations of 25/50 set ups.

Thanks
