Default Moral Question II

there is a young woman who is pregnant with a baby who will become the most brutal serial killer ever known. the baby will grow up to kill 2 older people in unimaginably painful/disgusting ways and subject his victims to much torture/humiliation/violation before killing them.

once the baby is born, he cannot be stopped. he will do the killings in his teenage years. after he kills the two people, he will be captured and will never kill again. he will die in prison.

you have the opportunity to kill the mother such that she does not feel any pain. do it?

The mother doesn't deserve to suffer (I mean lose her life) because the unborn child will kill later in life. Extrapulate this example to something like driving. Women can't drive and will undoubtedly cause some harm or death to someone if given a licence, should women not be issued driver licences?(the answer is: women shouldn't be issued licences) hmmm guess this was a bad example. Kill the mother and unborn child.

I'll play along here and say no, since I am clinging to my irrational belief in "free will".

Why cannot a child be stopped after he is born? A child is small and weak, accidents happen.
