Default Some quick & easy blind questions.

Here are two similar, yet slightly different scenarios.

Fold/call/re-raise, which of those options do you choose in each case?

1. Solid EP player raises, everyone folds to CO who cold-calls. Button and SB fold. You are in the BB and you look down to see:

a.) AJs
b.) 99
c.) 55
d.) AQo
e.) JJ
f.) KQs

2. Everyone folds to CO, player who is decent but just a little bit on the LAGy side. CO raises, button folds, SB calls. You are in the BB with:

a.) AJs
b.) 99
c.) 55
d.) AQo
e.) JJ
f.) KQs
g.) T9s
h.) 22
i.) 56s

Question 1, I'd call with anything but the jacks, which I'd reraise.

Question 2, I'd reraise with AJs, 99, AQo, and JJ, and I'd call with the rest.

That's my theory, anyway. In practice, my responses would vary somewhat.

I'd like to take a shot at this one

1.

I'd 3-bet JJ, Call with 99, 55, probably AJs and KQs but I'm not sure about these. Getting 5:1 it seems like a good call, but some of that has to do with their high card value and I think with an EP raise that is somewhat compromised. I'd still probably call. I'd fold AQo

2.

I'd 3-bet 99, AJs, AQo, JJ, KQs, call with 55, 22, T9s, and fold 56s. Not sure about 3-betting KQs, might just call with that one.

I'm curious to see other responses, because this is a tricky area for me as well, but here's my line right now:

1. Solid EP player raises, everyone folds to CO who cold-calls. Button and SB fold. You are in the BB and you look down to see:

a.) AJs: call
b.) 99: call
c.) 55: call
d.) AQo: call
e.) JJ: re-raise
f.) KQs: call

2. Everyone folds to CO, player who is decent but just a little bit on the LAGy side. CO raises, button folds, SB calls. You are in the BB with:

a.) AJs: re-raise
b.) 99: re-raise
c.) 55: call
d.) AQo: re-raise
e.) JJ: re-raise
f.) KQs: re-raise
g.) T9s: call
h.) 22: call
i.) 56s: call

Well, mebbe they aren't all so easy. I've noticed a general lack of focus from myself when playing my blinds lately. Need to sharpen up the PF blind skillz, hence the post.

Default In scenario 1...

..if there were no cold-caller sandwiched in between you and the solid EP raiser, would that change your action at all in any of the examples?

I think this would make a huge difference. In the first example I'd probably fold everything but JJ (reraise) and maybe call w/ 99 and hope to flop an over pair. Calling w/ AJs, AQo, KQs, etc now seems like cold calling two right after an EP raiser. In this case were only calling one bet, but were only getting 3:1 with these hands and could very well be dominated. I also fold 55.

I don't think things change as much in the second case. I 3-bet JJ, 99, AJs, AQo, maybe KQs. But I fold with 56s, 55, 22, or T9s
