i just find myself in too many situations where I'm facing a big bet, and I don't know if I'm beat or not. In limit, I can call down cheap, but in NL, I hate having to call a big bet when I don't know where I'm at, or folding only to wonder if I mucked the best hand. Playing short-stacked does away with that. And, as I said, it helps you get action with TPTK and overpairs.
