I'm pretty sure I play looser than a lot of people and I'm pretty sure that without notes or any type of a read on either players I fold.

I would call here. even against party 30 unkowns 3 betting out of the SB. it is a resteal after all,

you are likely getting 7:2, possibly 9:3 if hijack caps, and even though domination is a concern, suitedness does reduce that somewhat.

Someone explain why this is bad and I'm happy to listen.

Glad someone like Stox calls, because I call as well for the reasons he enumerates.

Can I interject and ask if cold calling with AJs is standard or at least an action to be strongly in full higher limit games (lets say in middlish positions from an ep raiser)? I have been reading that many people don't cold call with KQs and wondered if the same was true for AJs. Of course I know it is situation and player dependent just curious if there was a default play.

If there's any chance CO folds to a cap, I might cap it myself

Im with you stox, I called preflop..

Some people like to cap, but I feel I get a better grasp on hijacks hand by calling and allowing him to cap. I dont think they fold enough to make capping right. And by calling you can shut hijack out on the flop.

Not sure if this is right, I had thought it was close call/fold, but after talking it over with a strong playing friend he said fold preflop and didnt think it was that close. So ..thats why it made it to the BOARDS...

In actual hand flop came 7 hi 1 of my suit sb bet I raised, hijack folded and I won on the turn with a bet.
