Undoubtably the preflop is unoptimal, but I limped very much expecting a raise behind me. When that failed to happen and the flop comes down, I'm WA/WB and willing to go broke if someone had a 9, so I tried to take the line that would get the most chips in the pot. I planned to checkraise the flop, but with the bet directly to my left and everyone else folding I wanted to give more room for villian to hang himself if he was behind.

i think there are so many calling station in the $5 sngs that it isn't really neccesary to try for a fancy limp raise, and you gotta bet the flop to see if anyone has a 9... you put your self in a really tough position playing a 6 way pot on a paired board.
