It was Cortez that cost the Cowboy's the game, not that bad throw by Bledsoe.

It looked like Romo got it down in time and Cortez just hooked it.

"Jose Cortez missed a 29-yard field goal that would have given the Cowboys a 10-point lead. While L.P. Ladouceur's snap appeared to be high and to the right of holder Tony Romo, the ball was down in time, but Cortez simply hooked it left."

I won't believe it until I see it.

Had to bump this after the Apple Cup. The Huskies Coug'd it on Saturday but didn't come close to how badly Bledsoe Coug'd it against the Hawks. And I was there yelling at him to Coug it.

For those who don't know, the definition of coug it is:

"An unprecedented inability to execute in low-pressure situations"

Anyway, the Hawks almost Coug'd it against the 49ers, but hopefully it will remind them not get complacent against the Giants on Sunday, who are the biggest thing standing between the Hawks and a 12-4 or 13-3 season.

Go Hawks!

Phew. That was a close game, but the Hawks pulled it off the end. 8-2 4+ games up on the division. Magic Number (to win the division) is 2.

I wonder if they have the lowest Magic number in the NFL?

Yup, just looked at the standings. They do. Wow.

It makes me all tingly. When they were 4-2 I predicted an 11-5 season.

Now if they beat the Giants I want to see 13-3. Or 14-2. The Colts have to lose sometime right?
