Ladies Night III table??

Can anyone tell me what the dark domes or protrusions on the Ladies night III table are? I do not play much live poker and have never seen anything like them before.

They're being used by the WPT to give another camera angle for the players, I guess. It's a new thing they're doing with season 4 of the WPT.
