[/ QUOTE ] No, I do this all the time. It's really not a big deal, just kinda sa "whoops, sorry, meant to call Quagmire." My girlfriend's phone was broken for a little while and when she would go through her phonebook to call someone, she'd find the person and her phone would dial a completely random different person and it's really not a big deal.

after i hear a strange voice, i often instantly say: "sorry, i think i;ve dialed the wrong number"
sometimes i ask for a name and then appologize. its less awkard. what i totally detest are jackass who call and then reailze its a wrong number and then are rude after your are polite, even in the face of thier own stupidity
