Default Al vs Mason & David

Al "I have meet the enemy & it is us"

David & Mason "once you are a decent player it is more important to play against weak opposition than it is to play a little better yourself."

I now have 3000 hours worth of data and will give my results. I have tracked many things but will only mention those with atleast 100 data points and a correlation coefficient > 0.2.

Beers 0 = $138/hr 1-6 = Negative $94/hr >6 = negative $284/hr

This one goes with Al

Players

< =5 $71/hr > 5 = $28/hr

This one goes with both statements.

Opponants who play thier hands all the way through the way two plus two suggests.

<= 60% = $143/hr
>= 60% = Negative $4/hr

This supports David & Mason more.

In conlusion:

1) David and Mason are correct.
2) Al is correct.
3) I am not a decent player.

I hate it when I come to conclusions like that!

Default Re: Al vs Mason & David

Al has often commented on the need for good table selection/choosing weak players to play against.
