Default JT - Top pair against aggression, call this down??

BB is a slight LAG pre-flop, and typical post-flop. He is on a hot streak, up 30BB in about 100 hands.

Party Poker 5/10 Hold'em (9 handed)

Preflop: Hero is MP3 with J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
UTG folds, UTG+1 folds, MP1 folds, MP2 folds, Hero raises, CO folds, Button folds, SB folds, BB 3-bets, Hero calls.

Flop: (6.40 SB) J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)
BB bets, Hero calls.

Turn: (4.20 BB) 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)
BB bets, Hero calls.

River: (6.20 BB) 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)
BB bets, Hero calls.

Final Pot: 8.20 BB

I think you played it fine.

I would have folded it pre-flop, but since you went a different route, I think you did alright. If the BB is really a LAG, there are many hands he/she may play like this that you can beat.

I wouldn't raise this PF. And why didn't you raise the flop? Shouldn't you be charging him for betting his unimproved overcards? If he reraises you on the flop, then you know (on a cheap street) that you're beaten. If he just calls your raise, you're golden -- and you picked up an extra SB.

EDIT: I missed that you were the first one in. I guess the PF raise isn't so bad.
