Re: PLO/8 - MTT Final Table Hand - fold the underfull?
Theres no way you can call on the turn, but how about betting something on the flop to represent the wheel and if they call you got outs. However checking is not a bad play either, but you kind of give up on the pot when you do. You could play it safe and give up this hand by checking on the flop or go aggressive and bet on the flop to try and pick it up and if they call you got outs. Given the amount of chips you got I would have gone aggressive on the flop.

Anyone who calls me with a low gets their half back, and if they have a straight or get a flush - I am getting nothing. |

Im just saying as a bluff, you know trying to pick it up. With that board its kind of hard to call without A/5.

Hes first to act you know and he has a chip lead on them, use them to intimidate, its not like he was dead if they called him and most would as you said call him hoping to get more out of him. Im just saying he has the chips, he has outs, how about applying a little pressure with them chips?

Re: PLO/8 - MTT Final Table Hand - fold the underfull?
Yeah - put at this point the pot is still small, so a bluff doesn't pick up as many chips as it might in a better spot down the road.
FWIW- they both had wheel, but oh well, sometimes you lay down the best hand.. I went on to finish 2nd, losing a key hand when my nut low and nut flush failed to materialize vs a guy playing AAA5. |
