Re: Worst mistake you have made
About second week I'm playing live regularly and I have some pile of crap in a capped pot like 5 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 4 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] . (I was terrible) Flop is 3 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 6 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Qx. I instantly zero in on the two cards I "needed"...the 7 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] or 2 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. I am completely locked in on these two cards through the capped flop and capped turn after a offsuit 9. We see the river 2 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] with three players. First guy bets, second folds and I chuck my hand realizing that I am tossing the nuts when my cards get about 0.000001 inches from my hand.

Listened to everyone brag about how great SSH is on 2+2 and let it sit on my dresser for 2 months before starting to read it. Doo!

Re: Worst mistake you have made
Played live 3/6/9 all night through (14 hrs or so). In the wee morning hours, I looked at my blinds and see AA. Franting betting ensues, flop comes AKx, flop is capped between 3 players, turn another rag, capped, river another K, capped with 3 players to showdown.
The others show Ax (two pair) and Kx (trip Ks). I get ready to take the pot and flip over my cards, all smiles. Ooops, thought I had AA, it was actually 44. |
