how did i play this hand? (AK offsuit)
1-2 HE on Paradise. I was to the right of the dealer with
A [img]/forums/images/icons/diamond.gif[/img] K [img]/forums/images/icons/club.gif[/img] Before the flop: 1 person calls the BB, I raise, dealer, BB, and original raiser call. Flop: Q [img]/forums/images/icons/spade.gif[/img] 5 [img]/forums/images/icons/heart.gif[/img] 2 [img]/forums/images/icons/heart.gif[/img] It's checked to me, I bet, dealer raises everyone calls 4th street: (Q [img]/forums/images/icons/spade.gif[/img] 5 [img]/forums/images/icons/heart.gif[/img] 2 [img]/forums/images/icons/heart.gif[/img])8 [img]/forums/images/icons/heart.gif[/img] we all check, dealer bets, the other two players call, i fold. Re: how did i play this hand? (AK offsuit)
I think you played well... Q-rag-rag is a good flop to bet four-handed when you miss with AK, though it would be better still without the hearts. When it is raised and two people cold-call, your hand is often nearly hopeless, but calling one more in a 15 bet pot closing the action is ok. When you don't improve on the turn, you are correct to fold.
