Default What if we all walked..........

What if that 10% of 70% of Party's annual revenues WALKED! We start a Union of players that generate $xxx per month in rake? We bring a proposal to Party in turn with bonuses if we all cross a certain tier etc.etc.etc. The possibilities are endless? Anyone interested? Anyone part of a union?

Where would we go? Why would I want to walk with all of the good players? If all the good players walked, I'd beat the game at 5bb/100. :-)

I guess it isn't clear what my thought was. I am saying that the players that earn over x amount of dollars in rake walked to FORCE Party into a fair deal for both sides. It definitely is a process, but its like forcing arbitration and takes away leverage from Party. We make them all the money. Without us they are nothing...........Its just a thought, maybe I am a dreamer, but you start small, build a credible union where you can then offer health insurance, benefits, sponsorships, etc.etc.etc.

just a thought.........

Yeah..I was thinking about walking but after a month of playing the rock garden skins has changed my mind. I was a winning player before rakeback and will continue to win at party with or without rakeback. I sure will miss the extra $1000 a month though if I dont get rakeback

The VIP program seems to be a lot better than the first dire predictions, so I'd say don't call shenanigans until you know for sure that effective rb on party isn't going to happen. (e.g. I'd say give it a month, and if you're still unsatisfied, then go crazy).

What right do we, as players, have to demand the way in which PP decides to make a profit? Would you demand more and more from them until they were no longer able to function?

Besides, the only unions with any power are those that exploit a vital industry. Shipping, Steel, Education, etc. Check out the pizza delivery union that was (and, to my knowledge, still is) trying to form a couple years ago. APDD or something like that.

From the Boston Herald on a report about Party Poker and the recent drop in their stock:

"A small group of hard-core gamblers provide most of the business."
