Default Reasonable line?

Villain is slightly-loose and very aggro.

I don't like it. you are inducing a river bluff some of the time. but the rest (most?) of the time, you are missing value from worse aces that will put in extra bets, draws on the turn, and hands that will call down.

Whoa! He's loose and aggro, and you just checked through trip aces on the turn for him? I don't get it. (yes, i see you got in a river raise, but I still don't get it. You may have missed out on some heavy turn action)

This is an awful lot like that Joe Sebok hand from the limit WSOP event. He got flamed pretty hard for it.

Against someone who is very aggro, you always want to give them a chance to go to war with you when you have a strong hand. You desperately want to bet the turn and invite him to bluff/semi-bluff raise you. The type of opponent you would sometimes check in this spot against are those who will lay down hands you have beat on the turn but will curiosity call down the river when you check the turn. Definitely don't do this against a LAG.
