Do you get a PPT exemption if you rack up enough of these?

Seriously though, nice run sir... hopefully I can become patient enough to stop moving my AK into AA/KK and join you guys at a few final tables.

nice run, i've been ITM in a tourney every night, (2/4). it feels good but I haven't been able to go deep, 19th of 991 and 68 of 1090. so I'm still waiting for my first FT @ a big stars tourney.

Do you play in the Paradise $30 rebuys (guaranteed $20k/$50K)?

[/ QUOTE ]

i was just looking at these ... am i correctly seeing that they rake 9% of all money put in the pool? thats a big difference from stars.

Yes, it is higher because they don't take the fee up front.

Still worth playing, though. Sometimes 25% of the field is GONE before the break.

PLUS, Stars seems to not realize that there are appealing buyin amounts between $11 and $109, for some reason.

P.S. Can I have your sun-dried tomatoes, please?

Last Saturday: 1st in afternoon 10R
Last Monday: 5th in 25k guaranteed 10R
Yesterday(Sunday): 1st in 100R
Now: 2nd in chips in late night 10R

Decent week.... lol

Damn, thems some serious results.

I'm surprised anyone could have any sort of consistently good results in the low-buyin rebuys--I always just assumed they were insane crapshoots.

I suppose the dead money after the rebuy period is so huge that it makes up for the obvious problems.

I wish they'd run some $50 rebuys, and more of the $100 rebuys. I realize there's bound to be a smaller percentage of dead money, but they'd certainly be more worthwhile, I think. I just hate crawling into the muck with so many players, hoping to quadruple up and then not get run down by rags post-rebuy period.

unless I lose an 80/20 or have some serious bad luck in the first hour, you can always make about the last ~250 or so, at which point variance dictates if you crush everyone or not.

i think i dont understand. a stars rebuy, i know 10% of my buyin is going to the room, but my rebuys and addons are all going into the pool unraked. paradise, 9% of anything is raked. what makes one up front and the other not? because theyre 30s and not 33s? (like, buyin is same total cost as rebuy and addon) if that is true, how is it causative?

and doesnt that mean the bad players arent putting as much into the pool as i want them to be? i love stars rebuys for the excellent chance of getting a table with >75 rebuys.

do those guarantee tourneys ever get overlaid? (lain?) i guess the 20k no way, but maybe the 50k once in a while? how big do the fri/sat night 50ks get? ever 70?

there is a 55+r tonight, and they also scatter 33s. i havent really figured out the scheduling of them, though ... definitely less frequent than the 11s and 109s.

just make sure bruiser pays me off next time, it'll be all good.

No fear can also mean no reads and no talent, but I digress...
