its actually piraat, and yes its heavenly. in that vein, biere du boucanier and goudon carolus XXX are also great.

however, my personal favorites are belgian browns, particularly XXs and XXXXs. bornem XX is a great introduction, i love maredsous 8, and latrappe XXXX was great until they lost their trappist designation, but the holy grail is the achel kluis.

i find all three styles of chimay to be overrated.
