Laydown or not?
Hand one: Should I stop when 3-bet on the flop? Is the calldown good?

Re: Laydown or not?
I would play both the same way. If SB is really passive in hand one you could slow down after the 3-bet but since this is .05/.1 I say cap it.
I will guess button has 72o in hand 2. |

Re: Laydown or not?
Hand 1
You can probably just call down after the flop 3bet. You've shown more than enough aggression, but he's still coming. Hand 2 You lost one more BB than you needed to by not folding the turn to SB's donk. |

Re: Laydown or not?
Hand 1 - I wouldn't cap the turn. Bet-3bet lines often mean they can beat TPTK. If they can't, I don't want to discourage them into betting into me. Rest looks fine.
Hand 2 - I'd probably play it the same way, I'd like to say I'd fold to SB's bet from nowhere, but a 21 BB pot is hard to fold for one more bet. Absent any reads, I'll give button credit for QsQx, though that's probably too logical of a hand for him to have. |

Button Has...
For those interested in the bonus points on hand 2: Button has ... what else? 64o. The next hand ate his remaining stack with similar action.
(SB donked the turn with K9s [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], and CO called down with A8o.) |

Re: Laydown or not?
grunch...
Hand 1: Since you capped the flop and he bet the turn, he probably has you beat, but you have good odds to beat a weak two pair. I wouldn't have capped the flop, but I would have called down. If he's especially tight and/or passive, I'm likely folding the turn. Hand 2: Fold the turn, SB betting is scary and button will likely raise him. You're not getting good odds and one of the kings you'll hit for a set will put a four-flush on the board. Button has either QQ or AA, I can't say. I'm tempted to say he has QQ with the bitch spade. |
