I typically bet the flop, then check the turn when they both call the flop.

Admittedly I am running quite hot. If my posted hands are not good examples, please give me an example or two of where you called down instead of raising with what you thought was the best hand.

CO is 30/20, and it should be noted that I caught him open-raising in the CO with J5s, so I knew he was prone to stealing with terrible hands....

I would call PF and CR this flop. The way you played it I would just c/f the flop.

HAND EXAMPLE
Looking back, I shouldve checked the turn and maybe even the flop..

Hero bets, BB calls, UTG calls.

Turn: (4.50 BB) 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (3 players)
Hero bets, BB calls, UTG calls.

River: (7.50 BB) J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (3 players)
Hero checks, BB checks, UTG checks.

Final Pot: 7.50 BB

Results in white below:
Hero has As Ks (high card, ace).
BB has 4d Ah (one pair, fours).
UTG has Th Qh (one pair, tens).
Outcome: UTG wins 7.50 BB.

I would check the turn. That 8 is a crappy card. A lot of str8 draws hit or hit a pair. I would fold the river if one of them bet.
