That was a really weird way for him to play his hand. If you think he's aggressive enough to bet on the turn (and he appears to be based on your read), I don't see any problem with continuing with a WA/WB style-line here. After his flop check, it basically becomes W,WA/W,WB. I'd be happiest getting one bet in on each remaining street.
