Default changing screenname on Stars?

apologies if this has been covered elsewhere but i couldn't find it via search.

if you want a new screenname/UserID on Stars, is it possible to close your current account and open a new one w/ a new UserID?

i understand the need to battle against collusion, etc ... but if you don't like your username does that mean you're just SOL? what if you create a new account on a new computer and never use your old account again?

would be nice if they had the option of just changing your userid, that's a whole other issue than creating a new account. (Party lets you do this)
