Default Codecs..the bane in my sides

Hello,

My friend d/led the Family Guy episode from last week, the filename is: Family Guy-504 (414)- PTV {C_P}.avi

She is getting sound but no picture, so I figured it was a codec problem. Can someone provide a link to the codec to download? She's running Windows XP.

Google up the program GSpot - it will tell you what video files need in the way of audio and video codecs.

No need for codecs, just get VLC.
