Do people think you guys are crazy with so many monitors?
What do you tell them it's for? And don't say porn. People who don't know anything about poker see me playing 4 tables and already think I'm some kind of obsessed poker god. Can't imagine what they would say if I had more than one monitor hooked up.

Most male responses are "That's awesome" with no real question about why I would ever need two LCD inch monitors. They just love excess electronics.
Females immediatley ask why the hell I would need them. I usually tell them I need to multi task when writing research papers etc.. And for those that see me playing 7 tables, they instantly tell me that I need to go to gamblers anonymous, and dont liken me to any type of deity.

Ive got 3 (2 2001s and 1 1280x1024 model) and will play up to 12 games, peoples eyes glaze over when I show them the pic I have of 3 monitors with 12 games open, they think Im just a gambling junkie(fine with me)besides Porn overlaps with the borders and you sometimes get a distorted pic.

I have had dual monitor setup for years for work, way before I played poker. No girl that saw it ever really understood it, and every guy that saw it immediately recognized how awesomeness of it. My current gf kept asking why I had two computers when she first came over, and I would say I don't it is just two monitors, and she would say ok with glazed eyes.
about three months later she was actually watching me on the computer and watched me drag a window from one screen to the other, and she let out a little yelp, grabbed my mouse out of my hand, and started tossing windows too and fro. It was like a scene out of encino man I swear. funny stuff.
