Default Even Eurobet isnt safe from Party...

Just got this e-mail from a large Eurobet affiliate.

[ QUOTE ]

Dear Players,

As of yesterday we have begun sharing customer details with Partygaming (IGM) for fraud prevention purposes. Partygaming may in its fraud prevention protocal suspend any accounts without notice to Eurobet.

If you find your poker account has been suspended please note the following:

1) Your money in poker is safe and will not under any circumstances be seized.

2) You may login at www.eurobetpoker.com and click on cashier to transfer it from poker to sportsbook and then cash it out if necessary.

3) We will not close your sportsbook account and only poker will remain closed.

4) Please inform us at info@XXXX.com if any account has been closed as we will work to reopen them as quickly as possible.

Sincerely,

Support

Looks like there could be a bunch of account closures in the near future...

Why would they be closed? What kind of "fraud" do they mean?

Could this have something to do with Eurobet's policy of not offering rakeback over a certain amount? Are affiliates finally getting nailed for this?

My guess would be the "fraud" is having an account at both Eurobet and Party. Party wants the eurobet accounts closed to get those players back onto the main site w/o rakeback, I would imagine.

Also, Eurobet allows one person to have multiple accounts at Eurobet (so that you can play 8/12 tables from Eurobet alone). This might be part of it as well.

I'd never heard of this policy before.

Normally I would point out that it's not fraud if they said you could do it. but this is Party, and I don't think they understand that.

I would hope Party is not stupid enough to think people would just say "OK, I will just play at Party then".

They would lose a ton of rake by alienating the high volumn players, who are generally the ones who utilize rakeback.
