Default shoes

I need to know where to get a nice pair of shoes.
Any suggestions?
By nice I mean the type of shoes you can wear to an interview.

Try nordstroms they are known for their shoes. You will get a high quality shoe but they are a little pricey.

I have a couple pair of bostonians for everyday office use. They are reasonably priced and fairly durable and comfortable.

cole haan makes a shoe with nike - so it's got air in the sole - and they're comfortable as hell dress shoes without too much money invested. you can get them at dillards, etc...probably right around a c note.

I got a pair of Ecco "walking around shoes" the other day for $3. They were apparently having a rough time selling size 16.5.

If you're interested in getting something decent and save a few bucks, check and see if there's a Nordstrom's Rack in your area.

here

Beware, its kind of like Ross for pants, you can find something decent for a good price, but it will take a while.

Nordstrom Rack is nice. DSW shoe warehouse is also nice. If you are paying full price, Nordstrom seems to have a little bit cheaper selection than the Saks and Neiman's of the world, combined with great service.

I would get something pretty simple, like a cap toe or split toe.

Some ideas (for styles, not necessarily brands):
http://store.nordstrom.com/product/p...amp;pfindid=12
http://store.nordstrom.com/product/p...amp;pfindid=15
http://store.nordstrom.com/product/p...amp;pfindid=15
http://store.nordstrom.com/product/p...amp;pfindid=15

I wouldn't go with one of the exagerrated square-toes. A little too trendy for an interview, IMHO.
