Default 5/10 Defending Big blind with 76o

CO is loose and passive. 50/10/0.4. SB just sat down so no reads on him yet.

Turn: (4.50 BB) 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (3 players)

River: (4.50 BB) T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (3 players)
SB checks, Hero checks, CO checks.

Final Pot: 4.50 BB

Getting 5:1 pre-flop I figure calling with pretty much any two in this spot is standard. I bet the flop because it looked like the kind of flop that both my opponents would have missed. When they both called I figured I was probably behind and I decided to check the turn since I didn't want to get raised and end up having to pay two bets to draw to my straight. On the river I checked hoping that one of my opponents would bet a worse hand.

I think my play on the flop, turn and river is debateable. What does everyone else think?

I think the river is really really bad. 4 straight boards aren't particularly attractive boards to bet hands worse than a straight.

Bet the turn, bet the river. But seriously, have you jumped right into 5/10 6max without any low limit short handed experience?

If you are going to defend with these types of hands you must do so aggressively. I bet this flop. Bet turn. And not betting the river here is criminal. Checking hoping somebody else will bet a worse hand when you know one of your opponents is passive is a very bad idea. Value bet value bet value bet.
