if i can do 3 beers at one time in a funnel, does that count?

[/ QUOTE ]

my best is 6. but then i am pretty much wasted

[/ QUOTE ]

I'm in the sixer club as well. I've only ever met one person who could also do that. My best attribute however is speed.

[/ QUOTE ]

Six beers at once here as well. The big beer bong in my fraternity required the holder to be hanging out a window, off the fire escape, or in a tree (the preferred method). Several others in the house could do it as well. I went to a reunion a couple of years ago, and the underclassmen challenged me to a race. They had a valve set up on their bongs so that a team of four could bong the six beers. I laughed heartily when they asked me to assemble my "team" and whipped their pansy asses singlehanded six ways to Sunday. I have a couple of great pics of them gaping in awe at my prowess.

My wife is so very proud of that story.

I'm amazed that people bitch at service , it's always been really good every time i was there.

The first time I went with my girl to Dae Dong (I think it's on 32nd) we got great service. Phenomenal service. It turned out that they thought I was some sort of professional athlete named Alex something (Koreans must be blind to guts, and only see your height and apparent width).

I never expect good service when I go to an Asian restaurant. I go there for the food.

another thing i love about k-bbq places is that they're bright and loud, it's like a cafeteria. in fact, i hate restaurants that have "ambience"; screw that, i just wanna eat.

Was the brown ale very cold? I had some bottles at the weekend from a pub and it had barely been in the fridge and was not good. Its a beer that has to be very cold, on the bottles they have a star which should be dark blue to show correct temperature.

I have always found Stella too bitter for a lager.

I dont know if you get it in the States but there is a drink called thunderbird thats a relatively cheap strong "wine" one 11% the other 22%. In my youth (19-20 ish) would go out drink a bottle of Thunderbird then along to the metal night where 8 500ml cans of Brown Ale would be consumed and maybe a jack and coke to end the night, plus the UK's best a kebab then taxi home.

Needless to say I dont remember most of those nights.

That's weird. Stella tastes anything but bitter to me. In fact I've kind of thoguht the opposite. It could be more so.

Yea, their jingle back in the day was:

"What's the word? Thunderbird
How's it sold? Good and cold
What's the jive? Bird's alive
What's the price? Thirty twice."

That's right, $.60 to fly like the Bird.

To this day if someone sez "What's the word" I blurt out "Thunderbird".
