Default Monitor question - 19\" okay?

I'm in Canada, so buying 2001FP's is rather expensive to say the least. Very hard to get a deal up here. My question is, would a 19" monitor that does 1600x1200 have any problems? Or would it be the same as a 21".....just smaller? Reason I'm asking is because my laptop does 1600x1200...but all that means is I have to scroll down the screen to see the rest.

Here's one example.

Would be the same, just smaller.

1600 x 1200 @ 68Hz

You might want to find one with at least 75Hz, a lot of people complain about eye strain for anything lower.

I would not buy that one. Viewsonic is often blurry and not so high quality.

http://www.ncix.com/products/index.p...acture=Samsung Would be a better choice.

You can find specs and picture here http://www.epinions.com/Samsung_19IN...ay_~full_specs

It's native resolution is 1600*1200 @ 75hz witch good for the price.

I never owned a samsung that I would consider bad or even average, I think that one is good as well.

If you can consider ordering from other places there are alot of other monitors to consider.

Thanks for the replies guys. To answer your question...yeah I can order from other places, but I'd prefer to stick in Canada. Only options are Canada Computers(Canadacomputers.com), NCIX, Future Shop and Staples from what I see.
