Villain just sat down – an unknown. Previous hand however, he schooled me with BPNK as I played a draw aggressively…

Questionable aggression in this hand?

SB bets, BB folds, UTG folds, Hero calls.

Turn: (9 BB) T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)
SB bets, Hero raises, SB calls.

SB checks, Hero checks.

My main questions are:
1)do you like the pf cap?
2)do you like the turn raise?

I'd like it if you has some fold equity - but given your read it doesn't seem you do

a 3-bet here isn't fun either because you have to call

if he doesn't call down with bottom pair I like it

PF cap is good of course.
I don't like the turn raise as he'll never fold to it and currently has you beat at least 85% of the time.

Not bad. I'd say he'll 3 bet you about as often as you hit (and win) on the river. Overall it seems about neutral ev.

But good point about wanting to have some fold equity vs risking a 3 bet.

pf cap is fine. as for the turn often times ill raise like you did but in this instance i'd rather just call since i want to see the river cheaper and get lead into if i hit. getting 3 bet sucks since we have to call it.
