Why did you think dook would cover 19.5 in the first half? I saw that and I thought it seemed pretty high considering they're playing a team that has had consecutive 20-win seasons, so they're probably well-coached even though they're very young.

Is it just the youth?

Anyway, I know I'm posting this during the game so it's a bit shady. I didn't bet on the game or anything, but if I had to, I think I would have bet BU.

I thought the first half bet was good due to what I expected the pace of the game to be like. I tohught Duke would force some early turnovers and be able to dominate down low. turns out they came out cold as ice, but still led by 14 at half. Also, I'm a huge Duke fan.

Damn you Mizzo, get it together.

Ken

Is it just me or does Missouri always underperform in the regular season under Quin Snyder? I don't know how he still has a job.

i was a student at MU when quin got hired. he seemed like a real smart guy at the time (learned under coach k) and right away he signed some great recruits and got the team deep in the tournament once or twice. i haven't paid as close attention to them anymore, but i guess he is in the process of wearing out his rope. missouri tends to hang onto its flailing coaches a bit longer than some schools.

"Learning under Coach K" isn't really such a great deal.

Tommy Amaker "learned under Coach K" too and he hasn't exactly lit the world on fire at Michigan.

It's true that Amaker hasn't been awful, but it was a little crazy for him to go shooting to the top the way he did. I mean he was just declared to be this coaching superstar, and I didn't get why.

Mike Brey is another dook guy who's come under some heat.
