Default 2 Pair in BB

No HH, but it's a pretty basic hand.

Party $50 tourny 350 runners, 275 left

Blinds 25-50

My stack - 950
UTG+1 - 1500
MP1 - 1300

I have K7 (suits don't matter and after two limps I check

K7Tr

I check, UTG bets 200, MP1 calls, I raise to 400 and will push any turn.

Another adventure in FPS, or is there any merit to this?

All responses greatly appreciated.

Default Re: 2 Pair in BB

Generally, with two pair on the flop and OOP, i do not even want to deal with the turn so I try to pick up the pot right there and if not, at least guage what kind of hands are stickin in there. It's just so vulnerable, so unless maybe I'm headsup with top two, I usually bet out pretty strong. If you're going to check-raise here, it definitely needs to be for more. Another 200 is giving them great odds to hit whatever it is they need to catch up to you.
