Re: Donkbet This
[ QUOTE ]
I'm not following. An overcard that also happens to complete a flush draw hits. SB bets out into two players one of which is a PFR and you raise. Is the benifit here that you are going to CD anyway so by raising you will take a free SD and possibly fold a weak [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] button may be holding and SB will fold a weak K, possibly because of prior reads? I think the description you gave of SB was that he folded the river after your PFR in other hands (wasn't 100% clear with the way you worded it). If this is your reasoning though (again I have no idea), it would come down to why SB folded in previous hands. Could it be that he is just a fish that would never be capable of folding K2 in that spot. [/ QUOTE ] Fish donkbet here with A of spades, any pair. Raise and check river is perfect play here. |

Re: Donkbet This
Well luckily I didn't have to make any difficult 3-bet decisions as they folded. I probably would have called down unless the river was ugly.

Re: Donkbet This
looks good to me, and this is an easy fold to a threebet by the passive guy

Re: Donkbet This
Definite raise to a donk in this situation. Also raise can get other player off a KT of some mid spade incase a spde spade spikes the river. Then get a free showdown with donk.

Re: Donkbet This
i like it with this dudes stats, but what range of aggression will you do this against?
If the dudes agg factor is more around .5 are you still popping this turn? Also, I don't think I'm going along with everyone on not wanting a Qspade here. Sure it sucks b/c you will want to call down a 3 bet but how often are donks 3 betting us here? I think even if a donk has flush they will not typically reraise. i'd rather have more options for the river especially if the donk is just betting a K or two pair. |
