If i had any pair i would have called you on the river the way you played the hand getting almost 3-1 putting you on a busted draw and if you caught the Q then so be it.

Ok well let me say this. I think he had a pair. Medium pair. Or a busted flush (not likely), its not really important. What he thinks i have is. His turn bet is the key to the hand and why i did what i did. He bet under 30% of the pot. Very weak bet. A face card comes more than 30% of the time on the river. If you're the type of person that likes to play guessing games then you are a calling station, simply put.

I have that betting sequence for a lot of hands and most of them dominate anything he holds.

I dont think this was very well played. So what, you pushed him off a busted flush or straight draw after he missed it. What was the purpose of calling on the flop, and the turn? Just hopping that a another midcard or heart doesnt fall, and hoping that a black facecard comes? You gave him the right odds to play all of his draws.

becuase i have a ton of chips and ill be damned if i'm folding to a less than half the pot bet on the flop. If he pots it, i'm out. I explained the turn call in the other post... ill fold to a bet a little larger than that.

I think ur missing something here. You should be be raising or folding. I don't mind the call on the flop as long as you push any blank turn. Calling the turn I think is just asking to get hit with a card that destroys you.

I agree you should raise the turn not the river (that's assuming you actually want to try and take the pot from him.. i'd probably just fold the flop) Waiting till the river a) looks like a busted draw trying to grab at the pot b) might actually give him the cards he needs to call you.

You thought he was weak on the turn, so raise the turn.

edit: what hand were you representign? A way too overplayed AQ? If he had more than a complete bluff i think he'd be right to call you

edit edit:
But a raise on the turn could represent a set well, or an overpair.

what hand could i possibly represent by raising on the turn that would make him fold? He's a lot less likely to believe a turn push than a river push i think.
