Default While we are talking about protected pot bluffs: here is a PPB (semi)

Utg here is pretty bad. Somewhat loose passive about 44/5/.8 over 250 hands. Button is just playing wierd but has stats of 35/20/1 or so. The only thing memorable about his play specifically is that he has timed out a few times in critical decisions and it seems more like he is having connection issues than trying to cheat. I often CR the flop here but decided to try the turn this time instead.

Thoughts? I realize this isn't a classic PPB because I very well may be ahead.

Can't really much argue about raising with the best hand.

Once you check I think this is fine and will get better hands to fold on occasion but I think you should bet the turn yourself since it would suck to give them both a free card and if you get raised you have plenty of outs.

This is strictly a value raise. You have no fold equity versus better hands and I doubt you can even get someone to fold incorrectly.

But I think you are getting good value unless you read MP as unlikely to bet the turn with overs.

You need to be very careful if you river the flush. Button has called three times in a row. Given his stats the storm warnings are out that he has the flush draw too. It's hard to think of another hand for him. Don't even think about raising him with a 7-high flush.
