Default Where can I find Casino Lowball Games?

Does anyone know where lowball games are spread? I play Razz, triple draw A-5 and 2-7, and no limit deuce to seven. Also, Pot limit Omaha 8? Thanks!!!!!!!!!

I believe that the Commerce Casino spreads Razz. Phil Hellmuth talked about it in his book.

I don't know if you'd get a better response in the B&M forum or not. I just get the feeling that lowball makes o/8 look popular.

I've heard that most east coast casinos can't spread it because of licensing issues, but I have no idea of the veracity of that claim.

Default Razz at Orleans in Vegas

I've heard they spread 15/30 Razz at Orleans in Vegas. I'm not positive though.

Pot-limit Omaha-8 and pot-limit razz are popular in England. The Victoria Club in London has a famous 1000 pound buy-in game that is half pot-limit Omaha high, half pot-limit razz. Many other British clubs spread smaller pot-limit Omaha-8 games, sometimes with 5 or 6 cards dealt to each player instead of 4.

Har, Orleans wouldn't touch Razz, or even Stud. I stayed there for 2 weeks in July, they gave me dirty looks for mentioning any non-HE game except the 4-8-8 OH8

-Either play in a 1K/2K and up mixed
-Get a time machine and travel back to the 1970s when all the California cardrooms used to spread was draw/lowball

They spread lowball at the Oaks Club in Emeryville, California (across the Bay from San Francisco). $20 and $120 limit is spread. Don't know the rules in detail but it's player dealt, A-5, with a joker.

I'd ask Felicia Lee, she mentioned she played 15/30 Razz in Vegas. I guess maybe not the Orleans...

It was the Orleans. Also played some at Four Queens and Rio. But these were during festivals. It's easy to get those games going around a big event.

You have to be persistant, almost rude, keep an eye on the interest list, and recruit players who bust out of the tourney (the players you know like to play mixed games, non-popular games, etc).

If you just sit back and wait for it to happen, it probably won't, unless someone like me is there, doing the work for you.
