is this a full table? 9 or 10?

[/ QUOTE ]
It was full table (10) ... There may have been one empty seat.

i'd still say its pretty easy call.. he could have 67.. but... if he has a set.. ur not doin so well.. but other than that. alot of the time when they push on a flop liek that their protecting their over pair or being a big wheel. thers a small range of hands that are winning against you.. (if there were no reads)

i guess u could raise.. but ur raising with a drawing hand in no limit.. if you hit ur straight.. ur huge anywyas.. ur flush u would have to play more cautiously but ur probably still gonna b drawing .. so why not just see it in position? maybe im a little weak

No not at all. I think calling is the default play here especially considering most SS tables are loose and passive.

Raising occassionaly is good though to keep an aggro image and be unpredictable. It can be good if you have a bunch of weak tights that you can easily pick up the pot on the flop from or you need to disguise your hand in order to get paid on your straight etc.

It is also nice to start building a pot, so that if you hit your hand you can stack someone.

I don't like the idea of "building the pot" against an aggro when I am trying to trick him. Just seems like there are too many contradictions there.

1) The aggro will build the pot for me
2) Where is the trick if I raise him and he folds?

folding preflop is awful. this is an automatic call.

Or, better yet, build the pot after you hit your hand? Makes sense, eh? This guy seems more than happy enough to go all-in on the flop with an overpair after he's mini-raised pre-flop, so get those huge implied odds by just calling. Heck, if you know for sure that he's doing this with big pairs, and will go all-in on the flop with these big pairs, I'd loosen up my calling range to one-gappers and suited connectors down to 45s.

This is indeed the main incentive for raising here.

Too bad almost no one will be this bad. If this were the case you'd be able to profitably call any small raise.
