Mahjong

Anyone play this? I am in China right now, and I am a poker player mostly, but this game is intesely addictive. I am not talking about solitaire mahjong, I am talking about the four player game. Its a bit like gin, but REALLY addictive.

Shrug. You should find some chinese people/jewish women and play. I swear you will be an addict. although i think they play different versions.

My mom played 8 straight hours of Mahjong yesterday night with aunts!!!

I can't play poker for more than 5 without tiring out.

yeah the longest ive played so far is like four hours...but we got in a ton of hands, cause we went to a parlor, and the table we used had an auto shuffler in it. basically, you push all the tiles into the table, then hit a button and the come up shuffled and arranged. I am not explaining it well, but its sweet.

first i dont know you, second the best mahjong player i know is either my gf's dad, who is the freakin man at mahjong, or some of the dudes that play at the gambling parlor. they dont even have to look at their tiles. they can just rub the bottom, never turning a tile up. thats playing a long of mahjong. also...they are really good.
