Default Robbery at NYC club

There is a posting on Craigslist indicating that one of the NYC clubs was hit. Anybody there to confirm? Details.

Bump. Why are there no details in this thread. Somebody here must play at Acepoint.

I haven't played at Ace Point in a couple of months, but I remember they used to have to buzz you in. I guess that method of security has some weaknesses.

Whoa.

Do we think this is true or not?

I have no idea, which is why I posted it. If it is true, then it is the first strongarm robbery Im aware of in NYC clubs. I cant believe that none of the NYC baby NL players here cant validate or refute this rumor.

I've played at Ace Point all summer, but haven't been there since last Wednesday nor have I talked with any of my friends who play there regularly, I will be making some calls right now though. This is pretty nuts.

There seem to be a lot of shill and reverse-shill posts on craigslist from the NYC poker rooms. I'd be surprised if this actually happened. Until I see another source I'm going to assume it's probably BS.

I think that news of a robbery would be bad for all NYC poker rooms, so if this was a shill post, it was pretty dumb.

FWIW I just called Ace Point and the guy on the phone assured me that this post was BS.
