this band is pretty indie/hipster but i can't remember anyone ever posting about them. Le Tigre, a very "different" sound, but fun to listen to when I'm getting ready to go out. Kinda feminist/political punkish/8th grade garage band energy and sound:
 Another CD I absolutely love (and hipster but I haven't heard anyone talk about it either), Nouvelle Vague. All '80's punk covers, not exactly how you would expect to hear them. I really [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] this cd and I am a sucker for female vocalists:

You can download their shows from Archive.org or Etree.org some "electronica" recommendations.... am I the only one on this entire 2+2 community who likes this stuff???? Pole Folder - Zero Gold --- best electronic "artist" album in the past few years - definitely check it out. Sasha and Digweed - Northern Exposure North/South - all time classic progressive house music mix - Nothing comes close to this mix in terms of quality - will never be topped Balance 005 - James Holden - pixie trance master's trippy mix Everything But the Girl - Back to Mine - DJ mix of their favorite songs - perfect mellow music. Richard Dorfmeister - Richard Dorfmeister Presents A Different Drummer Selection ---great mellow DJ mix of reggae tunes from one of the best downtempo artists around LTJ Bukem - Logical Progression - the all time classic drum and bass album
