Re: Why do you play MTT?
Because sometimes we make final tables in these things. If you don't, then your logic is flawless.

Re: Why do you play MTT?
[ QUOTE ]
over a period of 5 hours [/ QUOTE ] I havent read the responses, so I don't know if someone mentioned this, but theres a major flaw in your argument. The average tournament does not take 5 hours, that's only if you go deep. In general, the avg tournament takes less than 2 hours becuase you bust out early so often. |

Re: Why do you play MTT?
Because where else can you spend 3 hours avoiding the donkey minefields, build your stack up, and then lose it (with 89 people left)when you push on the flop with 99 against KT and the donkey gets a T on the turn?
That's why we keep coming back |

Re: Why do you play MTT?
[ QUOTE ]
After 4-8 tabling cash games or even STTs for a couple hours I feel like I've wasted my time regardless of how well I do. [/ QUOTE ] I don't understand this. Isn't poker about making money? If you get a grand slam 4-tabling SNG's, how is that wasting your time? |

It\'s all about the dream
- Fun.
- More dynamic than SnG or Ring. - Opponents donk off chips faster than they donk off cash. - Experience. The money I make at MTT's today is trivial. The money I'll make crushing WSOP events in 3-4 years will make it all worth it. |

Re: Why do you play MTT?
A man stood on a street corner, propositioning every woman who walked by. Another man watched and was compelled to ask a question. How can you take the constant rejection? The man on the corner replied, "Ninety-nine out of 100 ignore me, call me names, or slap my face. But, OH, that one!"
A better question is why do I reply to questions with obvious answers? CJ |
