Re: Wsop Chip denominations
here's my stab at it...
there's no $25 as they've been raced off. yellow: $100 light blue: $500 black:$1000 pink: $5000 i'm color blind(slightly) so i don't see any red on the tables other than the pink |

Re: Wsop Chip denominations
I really wanna see the 100k chips
What's with the lack of 5k chips this year? They're barely using any at all.. I expect the 25ks tomorrow and the 100ks the next day. -adam |

[/ QUOTE ] Assuming that the chips are the same as last year.. 1000s are yellow base black edge spots (6?) 5000s are black base w/ yellow edge spots (4?) 10000s are pink/light blue 25000s are hot pink/black They aren't using many 5ks tho. No 25ks yet. |

Re: Wsop Chip denominations
Here are the imitation chipcos for comparison. Note: the $100 changed to the 'official' wsop design this year, i.e. the WSOp black/white chip logo
If you want some.. |

Re: Wsop Chip denominations
For the first time at this year's World Series of Poker, $50,000 chips are being introduced to the tables to reduce the size of some of the chip stacks. They are subtle chips, with a tan and brown color scheme that is reminiscent of the camoflauge used during Desert Storm and the Iraq War. In this tournament, those chips definitely represent some heavy artillery.
According to our sources, those are the highest denomination chips that will be used this year. A standard stack of 20 chips will be worth $1,000,000. (That's non-negotiable, so don't try cashing those in at the cashier's cage.) So at the final table, whoever ultimately wins will have a little over 56 stacks of chips. Picture it in your head, and then picture your favorite player sitting behind them. |
