Default QQ in the small

This may be an elementary question, but I'm not used to multi-table tourneys at all.
Blinds are 200/400 and antes are 25. 179 left, 60 make the money. I've got the 70th chip stack with 8060 chips, both the players in question have me covered.
I'm in SB w/QcQs
3 folds, villain 1 min-raises to 800. Folded to villain 2 on button who calls.
What's my move? Obviously I'm putting in a raise, but what should I raise it to?

I think 2800 here is good. thats a bit more than the current pot and should at least get 1 fold of the two villains. I think I would also call a push by him. im pretty sure he's probably got a mid pocket pair, 77-99ish

And if I get a call and the flop comes with overs and no set...check/fold?

I think check fold may only be an option if it comes with 2 overs. you should be pot committed, because if not it leaves you with 7BB's if you check fold. I think I would open push no matter how the flop comes.

Edit: you're still well off the money and got to make a move, this is why i think you are committed.

I think pushing all in pre-flop is a very valid option. you don't wan't to put in 1/3 of your chips and be forced to check-fold if an overcard comes...there is 2200 in the pot. Try to take it down right now. In the majority of online tournaments, you will be called far more often while ahead than behind.

i think this is an interesting hand...I'm suprised nobody had any more feedback...I think a pot sized raise is probably the worst option on this hand. I like pushing all in or just calling pre-flop better.

Obviously I'm putting in a raise, but what should I raise it to?

Not so obviously a raise

Against certain opponents I will not reraise.
Against some opponents, an ep min raise means a hand that wants to get reraised. That usually means AA or KK.

Against some players a min raise means they do not have a clue on how to play no limit.

I need player information before I can give you a line. I might call, I might pop it to 2400. Depends on the reads.

id stick them in pf everytime. If the min-riase means AA or KK then so be it. Most likely not though.

If i go out with QQ vs AA i wont have any probs getting to sleep at nite.

Your prob going to put all your chips in on the flop anyway.

Hi Mike,

I think this on the internet and the players' info you need to make an intelligent decision is not easy to ascertain. Let us assume that hero just got moved to this table when this hand occurred. You still have to make a choice somehow.

My choice is to push. Villains' mini-raise and call could be anywhere from a medium PP, AK or trying to trap with AA, KK the 12 combinations that got you beat. We don't know that but at this stage of the tourney QQ is strong enough for me not to fart around. Calling or raising to say, 2500 for example, although viable, may put hero in a difficult decision making if either one or both call and then A or K flops. Then what?

To accumulate more chips is my goal at this time.
