i would bet the turn (and 3-bet if raised) so as to not give A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]K or AK[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] a free card.

Everyone seems to like the preflop raise. I know limping UTG is generally considered braindead, and QJs is too much hand to fold, but it seems to me that the raise is only going to fold worse hands and get us raised by better hands. Plus, we want opponents in case we hit a flush/straight draw.
So can someone explain why we're raising preflop? (everyone has already said the things i was thinking about this hand, so i'll attempt to hijack the thread now [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]). |

Open limping here is like open limping from two off the button. That's always a bad move. |
