Is my push a stupid move here? Why I am asking is because the guy played really well, was chipleader for quite long and played really good then. So he must know that I can do this with any two.

I think folding is best. While there is quite a bit of dead money here, I don't think it's enough when you have no FE and 46o.

Actually I thought he would fold almost any two cards there. The shortstack was in BB and had only 400 left after this hand. And this guy would be left with around 900.

your reasoning is fine...IF his min raise wasn't more than 1/2 his stack...leaving him just 900 or so. i'm sure he wasn't thrilled about your push OR his call. he just dug himself a hole here. i like your move better if the blinds where 100/200, and he raised to 600.

The villians play was just terrible in this hand no matter how you look at it. Your play is good exactly one scenario happens...The short BB folds (thinking that the original raiser will call) and then the raiser folds.

The problem is that a lot of people play poorly and just look to get their money in with a better then 50% chance of winning. Imo the odds are just too great that you will get played with here with the blind:stack ratio being so high.

Yeah. I doubt it's right to fold there, even on the bubble, because the guy is getting absolutely insane pot odds.
