Top Pair, nut flush draw
Just wasn't sure how to proceed with this. Do i call the $4 hoping to hit, do i re-raise? If re-raise, to what amount? 10 bucks in the pot at this point so should I make it 10? 15? push?

Re: Top Pair, nut flush draw
Call this one knowing that you're getting pot odds. You may be down in the hand to a two pair or set or even the flush, but you have a lot of outs and good odds here. Also, BB may have raised with something like AQ (Q of spades). I hate to be passive, but this is a case where you should be.

Re: Top Pair, nut flush draw
i would make a significant raise...to $12 or so. hopefully SB will then push and BB will call, then you'd call, of course.

Re: Top Pair, nut flush draw
You've almost certainly got the best hand, and you've got the nut flush draw as well. I'm loving this so far.
I think you have 2 options. a) Call here, and throw a check-raise all in on the turn. A semi-slowplay, intended to confuse your opponents just long enough to get them committed to the pot. b) Pushing to about 8-12 right now. I hate to raise to 8, and give away the strength of your hand without making a big raise, but that might be your best option here if both of your opponents are passive. I'm more in favor of a raise to 10-11. I'd use option A against LAGs, and option B against calling stations. |
